Matt hails from Sutton-in-Ashfield, near Nottingham
and has been the chief acoustic demonstrator for
CORT Guitars in the U.K. & Ireland since 2006.
During that time he has gained a world-wide reputation
as an innovative guitar virtuoso in the style of such great
players as the late lamented Eric Roche, the amazing
Tommy Emmanuel, Pierre Bensusan, Christophe Godin,
Erik Mongrain, Antonio Forcione, Preston Reed, Andy McKee
& our own Gordon Giltrap - to mention but a few!
As well as teaching, Matt can be seen at most of the
Guitar Shows around the U.K. & Ireland, amazing folk
with his digital dexterity and sheer musicality on his
CORT guitars as well as on MySpace & YouTube
Matt travels over to Oswestry to teach at our school.
